Erin K. Harner assumes a myriad of roles
within the dance realm, which affords her the opportunity
to cultivate an enriched perspective and unique compilation of skills.
Her multi-disciplinary pursuits deepen her exploration and further diversify her skillset.
Erin is a freelance artist who has performed with companies such as BOOM CRACK! Dance Company, CabinFever, Chicago Urban Dance Collective (since renamed Egun Artist Collective) and Peckish Rhodes Performing Arts Society. Erin’s work with such companies, as well as various independent artists, has taken on the shape of evening-length performances at generative spaces such as Steppenwolf Theatre and Links Hall, as well as site-specific, immersive productions at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Stony Island Arts Bank and Soho House. She has performed at events such as Prelude Midwest and World of Dance Chicago, in addition to a variety of festivals in both Chicago and New York City.

Erin has a rich teaching background that includes instruction both in the studio, as well as through school programming. Erin currently serves as a returning guest artist at Vail Valley Academy of Dance, an aerial fitness instructor at AIR Aerial Fitness, a yoga sculpt instructor at CorePower Yoga and a yoga and mediation instructor at Move Therapy and Wellness. Aside from her collegiate pedagogical education, Erin’s accreditations include the Nan Giordano Certification Program, Yogaview's 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and CorePower’s Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training. Additionally, she maintains membership with the International Association for Dance Medicine & Science.

Furthermore, Erin functions as the Associate Director and Director of Communications for Springboard Danse Montréal, Previously, she assumed the roles of General Manager for South Chicago Dance Theatre, Operations Manager for Chicago Dancers United, and Manager of Artist Training at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Erin's administrative duties have included program development and coordination, grant composition, submission and reporting, fundraising, tour management, production of marketing materials and website management, copyediting and proofreading, proposal and contract drafts, implementation of procedural changes, and data entry. She has served as the primary client relations resource in addition to facilitating staff recruitment, evaluation and scheduling. Erin's previous and current roles afford her the pleasure of engaging in collaboration resulting in the promotion of innovation and generosity.
